Group Inspiration Project — Creating the “Perfect” Background
Hi all! Andrea C. again!! Many of you have expressed interest in learning how to “design” things yourselves and we’ve decided to answer some of those questions by doing “group projects”. Just what are these projects? Well, we’re picking a theme and each creating something to go along with it. Not only will you get the freebie packs we create but you’ll also get the instructions on how we created them so that you can try your own hand at designing. This edition we decided to do a feature on how to take a plain color swatch like this:
and turn it into six GORGEOUS background papers like these:
We’re even sharing our sources with you!! Many of us used brushes to jazz up our paper and we went on the hunt for some great commercial friendly FREE brushes and those links are all included in our “how-to’s” that you’ll find in with the freebie paper pack download. Here’s what we’d like to hear from you…….we want to know what you’d love to learn how to do. We aren’t all designers (I’m definitely not by any means, LOL) so we can’t promise to know it all but we would love to teach you all that we can. Leave us some suggestions on what you’d love to learn. This week’s paper pack can be downloaded at the link below and includes creations from myself, Barb, Gabi, Julie Ann, Sherrie and Sue. Please make sure to leave them a little love if you enjoy the pack!

Christina is still on the road to recovery from this nasty illness of hers plus she has a HUGE Prima deadline this week so she won’t be around too much. Please remember to keep her in your thoughts to help her heal up really quickly!! Also, we would love to see what you do if you try to design your own papers using our tips so don’t forget to share with us!! Thanks so much for stopping in and I hope you enjoy the freebie!!
