Get to Know Sabrina Dupre!

Sorry to be slacking in the interview department but I’ve been a tad under the weather these last few days but I promise we’re back on track now :) The way it’s looking, we may still be sharing interviews with you all even after the Block Party ends just so we can let you get to know everyone! Today we’re taking time to get to know Sabrina aka Sabrina Dupre Designs. I first met Sabrina on CR’s team when I started here and she’s such a total sweetheart and she has become such an awesome designer! If you ever take a close peek at her designs you’ll definitely see all of the details and love she puts in to each and every piece! I hope you’ll take a few minutes of your day to read more about her and to learn a little more!

AA: Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
Sabrina: I was born in Colombia and grew up there until we moved to the United States and then grew up in Louisiana. I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
AA: What’s your sign?
Sabrina: Pisces
AA: What interested you in Digital Scrapbooking?
Sabrina: I have always done all kinds of arts & crafts and made my own birth announcements, party invitations, etc..While looking for fonts to use on my daughter’s birthday party invitations, I found 2Peas and then, Rhonna Farrer’s blog and then Shabby Princess. I was immediately hooked as any digi scrapper can understand!
AA: What’s your favorite food?
Sabrina: Anything Colombian and I have a serious love for all desserts! I LOVE sweets!
AA: When did you start designing and how did you learn?
Sabrina: About 5 months ago. Laura Deacetis asked me if I would be interested in designing and selling at her shop (Shabby Pickle Designs) I had made a few things before but only for my own layouts. Laura called me and over the phone taught me some things to get me started.
AA: Do you scrap?
Sabrina: Of course!! I am a scrapper first and foremost!! Check out my gallery here.
AA: If you could only have three scrap items to use what would they be?
Sabrina: Well, I love creating digital pages that look as though they are paper pages so I would have to say, textured paper, realistic looking paint strokes, and stitching.
AA: How do you know Christina?
Sabrina: I used to be on her creative team.
AA: What’s your two favorite products you have designed?
Sabrina: My Life and Natural Beauty although I am loving my new kit, Isabella’s Room I created for the block party at CRD!

AA: Tell us where we can find you and your great products in the future.
Sabrina: My designs can be found exclusively at Shabby Pickle Designs.
